Grade 10 Ontario curriculum tuition
Grade 10 is the year of the first real decision. Course levels return — academic (D) or applied (P) — and the choice made here directly determines which Grade 11 courses are open, which in turn determines Grade 12. It is also the year students write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, a graduation requirement.

MPM2D is the gatekeeper
A student who finishes Grade 10 academic mathematics shakily will struggle in MCR3U, and MCR3U is the prerequisite for Advanced Functions and Calculus — the two courses most university STEM and commerce programmes require. If one course is worth investing in this year, it is this one. Every Grade 10 student with us also gets OSSLT preparation built into the term at no extra cost.
