Nine dollars apart

The gap between a batch of three and having the teacher entirely to your child is $9 an hour. For most families that is the easiest decision on this page — and we have priced it that way deliberately, because one-to-one is where we can move a mark fastest.

Two formats. That’s the whole price list. No registration fee, no materials fee, no charge for the trial class or the diagnostic, and no contract — cancel with two weeks’ notice.

Included at no extra charge

The trial class and written diagnostic, all lesson materials and practice sets, progress reports every six weeks, and OSSLT preparation for Grade 10 students. Grade 12 and IB courses are charged at the same rate as Grade 9 — we don’t price by difficulty.

Not included: external examination fees where applicable, and IB registration fees paid directly to the International Baccalaureate Organization.

Choosing a format

Batch or one-to-one?

BATCH Batch of 3

Right for most students. Three learners, all taking the same course, at roughly the same point in it. Students learn from each other’s questions — often the ones they were too self-conscious to ask themselves — and the weekly rhythm builds the discipline that ad-hoc sessions never do.

1:1 One-to-one

Right when the gap is large, the deadline is close, or the work is inherently individual — an IB Internal Assessment, an Extended Essay, a specific accommodation. More expensive per hour, and not automatically more effective for a student who is simply behind.

We’ll recommend one after the trial class. You are not committing to either by booking.

Try it properly before you pay for it.

A 40-minute class and a written diagnostic, free, with no card required.
