Privacy policy

What we collect

When you book a trial class or contact us, we collect the student’s name, city and school, the course and grade, the self-assessment and exam date you provide, and the parent or guardian’s name, phone number and email address. We collect nothing else, and we do not require an account.

Why we collect it

Solely to schedule the class, place the student in the right group, prepare the written diagnostic, and contact you about the booking.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Data is shared only with the teacher assigned to your child and the staff scheduling the class.

Marketing

We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask. After a trial class you will receive a confirmation, a reminder and the diagnostic — and nothing further unless you continue with us or request otherwise.

Retention and your rights

Enquiry records are kept for twelve months and then deleted. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing study@academyx.ca. We will respond within thirty days.

Students under 18

Bookings must be made by a parent or guardian, or by a student aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a student under 18 without parental involvement.
