Where the marks are going: the algebra is sound, but exponential and trigonometric work is being lost at the setup stage rather than the calculation — the method is being chosen before the question is fully read. Next assessment: trigonometry unit test, approximately three weeks out. Start here: two sessions on reading and translating word problems in trigonometry, then a full review of exponential laws before the unit test.

Is the trial class genuinely free?

Yes. No card is required to book, there is nothing to cancel, and the diagnostic is sent whether or not you continue.

What actually happens in the class?

A real 40-minute lesson with a real class, on the unit your child's school is covering right now. It is not a demonstration - the other students are there to learn.

Will my child be behind everyone else?

We place students by course and current unit, not by ability. The self-evaluation you give us decides which class in that course is the right fit.

We don't know the course code.

Can I sit in?

Yes, and many parents do for the first class. After that most prefer the progress reports, which we send every six weeks.

What is in the diagnostic?

Strand-by-strand strengths and gaps in the course, what is coming on the next assessment, where marks are actually being lost, and what we would work on first.

What if we decide not to continue?

Nothing happens. You keep the diagnostic and we will not chase you.
