Free trial class · Grades 9–12 & IB
One real lesson. No charge.
Your child joins an actual class in the course they’re sitting right now — not a sales call, not a placement test. Within 48 hours you get a written diagnostic showing exactly where the marks are being lost. Keep it either way.
- 40 minutes
- No credit card
- No contract
- Batch of only 3
What you’re booking
A lesson, not a consultation.
Most tutoring companies use the free session to assess and sell. We use it to teach. Your child should walk away having understood something they didn’t understand an hour earlier.
YES What it is
- A live 40-minute class with a specialist subject teacher

- Regular classes, if you continue, run 60 minutes
- Yours to keep and use however you like
NO What it isn’t
- A sales call with a coordinator
- A generic placement test
- A recorded video or a trial login
- A card on file or an auto-renewing subscription
- Weeks of follow-up calls if you decide against it

After the class the written diagnostic follows within 48 hours — strand by strand, what’s coming on the next assessment, and what we’d work on first. Yours to keep whether or not you continue.

What you keep
The diagnostic, in plain English.
Not a score out of ten. A strand-by-strand read of the course, what’s coming next, and what we’d work on first — written so a parent can act on it.
Course Diagnostic
MCR3U · GRADE 11 · SAMPLEWhere the marks are going: the algebra is sound, but exponential and trigonometric work is being lost at the setup stage rather than the calculation — the method is being chosen before the question is fully read. Next assessment: trigonometry unit test, approximately three weeks out. Start here: two sessions on reading and translating word problems in trigonometry, then a full review of exponential laws before the unit test.
Questions
Before you book.
Is the trial class genuinely free?
Yes. No card is required to book, there is nothing to cancel, and the diagnostic is sent whether or not you continue.
What actually happens in the class?
A real 40-minute lesson with a real class, on the unit your child's school is covering right now. It is not a demonstration - the other students are there to learn.
Will my child be behind everyone else?
We place students by course and current unit, not by ability. The self-evaluation you give us decides which class in that course is the right fit.
We don't know the course code.
Select the grade and choose 'Not sure which course', or send a photo of the timetable on WhatsApp and we will identify it.
Can I sit in?
Yes, and many parents do for the first class. After that most prefer the progress reports, which we send every six weeks.
What is in the diagnostic?
Strand-by-strand strengths and gaps in the course, what is coming on the next assessment, where marks are actually being lost, and what we would work on first.
What if we decide not to continue?
Nothing happens. You keep the diagnostic and we will not chase you.
